Consuming alcohol while taking Akurit-3 Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

This side effect is usually not harmful. However, discoloration of urine can be a sign of liver damage. Call your doctor if you have discoloration of urine with stomach pain, loss of appetite, and jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes).| Q. Can I discontinue Akurit-3 Tablet if I feel well?::: No, do not discontinue Akurit-3 Tablet. Take the proper course of the drug that has been prescribed to you even if you begin to feel better. If you stop taking Akurit-3 Tablet, your infection may become worse and difficult to treat. It may even result in drug-resistant TB i.e. drugs you were taking may no longer work for Tuberculosis.| Q. Can Akurit-3 Tablet cause visual impairment?::: Akurit-3 Tablet contains Ethambutol, which may cause visual impairment. Inform the doctor immediately if you notice any changes in your eyesight.
