Alppro 20mg Injection also prevents acidity associated with use of painkillers and stress ulcers in critically ill people. It is also used to treat a disease associated with excessive acid production in the stomach known as Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES). Alppro 20mg Injection is also helpful as a preanesthetic medication (medicine given just before anesthesia) to reduce the chances of aspiration related complications like lung injury.| Q. What dietary changes should I make to get relief from acidity?::: Alppro 20mg Injection is best taken 1 hour before a meal. You should avoid spicy and fatty foods while taking this medicine. Does Alppro 20mg Injection cause bone problems?::: Yes, long-term use of Alppro 20mg Injection can cause thinning of bones, which is called osteoporosis. Alppro 20mg Injection decreases the calcium absorption leading to calcium deficiency and increases the risk of bone fractures of the hip, wrist, or spine. Take an adequate amount of calcium in your diet or take the supplements as advised by your doctor to avoid any bone problems.| Q.
